This job trailer is a direct result of rules and regulations gone mad. Commissioned to construct a custom home in east Mesa, the homeowners association refused to allow us to set a construction trailer on the site. With the site more than 50 miles from our main office, an alternative solution was required. After an extensive review of the rules and regulations it was determined that there were no restrictions on the number of construction dumpsters allowed during construction. Our office decided to have a design competition to design and fabricate a habitable dumpster. The dumpster incorporates recycled material in the majority of its design. The folding shade canopy and deck have been fabricated with dimensional lumber salvaged from a local warehouse.
